Retrofitting a headquarters for a new era

After more than a decade, TotalEnergies’ long-standing Redhill office had become dated and no longer reflected the organisation’s dynamic, forward-looking character. They sought a new workplace that would project their brand, reinforce their culture, and support the way their teams work today and in the future.

Arrival Experience

Visitors arrive at a bright, uncluttered space with a seamless gate transition between the public and secure workplace environment.

Arcitectural References

Clean lines, concealed detailing and timber battens creates a real sense of rhythm and depth throughout the space.

Material Palette

Bold red upholdstery provides a striking visual accent against the otherwise muted palette.

Sustainability at the centre

A destination floor for the campus was built into the plans to create a dynamic space for the team and clients to enjoy. This space is anchored by the ‘Bonjour Café’ which is a vibrant social hub supported by a games room, high-spec AV meeting rooms, and a flexible training space. Sustainable design practices underpinned the project with approximately 60% of existing furniture reused, reconfigured, and relocated to reduce waste and control costs without compromising quality. In larger meeting rooms, we enhanced acoustics with targeted upgrades rather than major replacements; and as much as possible we designed within the existing HVAC and infrastructure of the building.
